Join Blue Muse and Heather Zeeb for an immersive and nourishing Yin Yoga and Sound Healing journey!
Tuesdays: June 6-Sept 26, 2023
6:00-7:15pm
Bees n Blossoms, Santa Rosa
Yin Yoga is a gentle retreat back into yourself, and when paired with sound healing, the practice becomes even more potent. This slow-moving meditation relaxes the muscles allowing you to reach the deep connective tissues. In addition, the practice of Yin invites the mind and body to come into stillness so that a more profound connection to your inner Being can be discovered and remembered.
The healing sounds of gong & crystal singing bowls will soothe you, raise your consciousness, and carry you deeper into your practice. By combining these two modalities, you will enjoy the opportunity to turn inward and focus on breath and inner stillness while allowing sound waves to wash over you, harmonizing your body, mind, and spirit.
The yoga and sound experience starts promptly at 6pm. Gates close at 5:45 PM. You will need time to park and set up and so you are welcome to come walk the labyrinth and visit the Farm Stand from 5:15 onward.
You will be lying on the grass, so please bring all that you will need to feel cozy, a pillow, eye mask, yoga mat or camping pad, blanket/sleeping bag (temp. can drop 10* during the event)
Please bring a yoga mat.
No experience necessary.
Please be informed that there are bee hives on site and there may be bees on the lavender plants. If you are allergic to bee stings, bring your Epipen. An incident is unlikely, but best to be prepared.
No dogs allowed on the farm please.
Labyrinths represent a metaphor for your life path and the journey you are making. While walking the path of the labyrinth, either alone or with a group, focus on your feelings and emotions to allow you to connect with yourself. You may also want to choose a meditation that you are comfortable with in order to clear and quiet your mind. The uses of a labyrinth are many; relief from stress and anxiety, healing, meditation, problem solving, enhancing intuition, expanding thought processes, communicating with the Divine, balancing mind, body and spirit, letting go of unwanted energies, obtaining goals, celebrating and remembering others, building trust in yourself or others, and coping with grief, sorrow and loss. The labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools.
Looking forward to this Extraordinary Experience with you and the Lavender!
